The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
The jobholder will be responsible for the development and support of the process and IT landscape of one of the four process streams at well known and respected automotive manufacturer, these are referred to as the Product Process, the Customer Order Process, the Customer Service Process and the Support Process. This role will promote business effectiveness and efficiency while striving for innovation, flexibility and integration with technology. The role will involve the strategic planning of the process and system landscape as well as the delivery of systems developments and system changes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop the strategic process and IT landscape together with the Business(Master Construction Plan)
- Define the demand for IT projects together with the business
- Lead the prioritisation process for IT services for the area of whole process stream (Cross Functional)
- Customer relationship management with the process stakeholders (key account for the whole portfolio)
- Convert process design criteria into solution specifications
- Convert measurement strategy into solution specifications
- Convert information needs into solution ideas
- Lead design of IT solutions
- Define and manage IT projects
- Deliver system development projects
- Deliver system changes
- Manages a team of IT application or technical system's development staff
- Management of team budgets
- Shares the responsibility for day to day management of overall operation of the IT department

Dimensions & Limits of Authority

- The role involves direct management of financial and people budgets
- Takes responsibility of all quantitative criteria for their allocated objectives
- Signing authority of Purchase Orders and company documents as per company policy or special dispensation
- To allocate tasks to the resources assigned to their projects and monitor achievement of these tasks

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma of Computer Sciences or Business administration complemented potential by other relevant portfolios such as Mathematical, Economic or Educational vocations
Evidence of interpersonal skills appropriate to the role
Evidence of successful delivery of strategic projects
Evidence of Skills in Business Process Management or related tools and Project Management
