The Company:
Our Client provides oilfield products, systems and services for customers in the oil and gas industry world-wide. They apply the knowledge and create and use technologies that deliver their customers' solutions.

The Role:
Manage Supplier, follow up execution of POs at the site and act as point of contact between clien and Supplier.

Accountable for Group Category Strategy at Supplier by monitoring and confirming capacities, and progress of supplier development programs. Monitor HSE compliance.

• Co-ordinate all contacts and activities between client and supplier site. Hereunder manage and coordinate all visits to supplier, including Kick-off meetings and pre-production meetings.
• Shall be informed on relevant tenders, potential and awarded POs to his supplier
• Shall flag to Head of Group Category Management when Supplier should be blocked because of capacity constraint or compliance issues
• Mandate to stop production/testing at supplier site up to 24 hours, in case of HSE risk
• Perform daily follow-up on progress with the supplier vs. delivery priorities list, follow-up on reaction plan with the supplier, and report to relevant buyer.
• Manage short term priorities with the supplier in co-ordination with client buyer and project. Escalate to Head of Group Supplier Management in case of conflict of priorities.
• Consolidate and frequently update (minimum weekly) all projects demand and priorities at supplier
• Monitor capacity (short term view) and update load plan for Supplier and report it to Global Category Manager (or distribute to regional supply chain managers if there is no Global Category Manager for product)
• Organize monthly Operational and Performance Review Meetings with supplier. Participants: Supplier’s Head of Manufacturing, residing KSM, Global Category Manager, relevant buyers and projects
• Identify improvement opportunities on efficiency, productive, quality and planning. Raise opportunities with supplier and involve Supplier Development function as relevant. Drive delegated supplier development activities. Define improvement targets together with supplier, and follow-up these
• Identify and suggest improvements within client's requirements (documentation, procedures, etc.) and discuss with respective areas inside client operations. Follow-up implementations of improvement actions defined.
• Monitor and facilitate communication between Supplier and client on technical documentations and approvals. Escalate internally in clients to project supply chain when execution at Supplier is delayed due to lack of documentation or approvals on client's side.
• Responsible that SQiS and Risk Register are fully updated for actual supplier site

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Business or Engineering related Degree / Diploma (Desired)
• Experience - 5-10 years in a heavy manufacturing based industry
• Demonstrated experience from managing improvement initiatives
• Genuine ability to foster and maintain buyer/seller relations through active relationship management practices
• Self-starter, working remotely from client sites
