The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company responsible for the Construction, Ownership and Operation of it's own Plants.
The Role:
Perform laboratory tests according to prescribed standards. Provide support on transactional type of analytical work to support various units of the Company.
1. Set up, adjust and operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
2. Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control analysis in support of production units, raw material, process streams and finished products testing and certification.
3. Record test results on standardized forms and write test reports documenting procedures used.
4. Responsible for performing assigned calibration check as required, and conduct first line of basic preventive maintenance according to written procedures.
5. Perform all tests associated with quality control and international proficiency testing programs.
6. Check the sample information and sample integrity prior to running the analysis according to laboratory worksheets.
7. Carry out routine checks on instrument status, sample login, maintenance and Quality Control checks in a timely manner.
8. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Associate degree in analytical chemistry.
• Laboratory Certification program.
• QA/QC experience in Petrochemical Laboratory
