The Company:
Our Client oversees and manages all the operations associated with major LNG projects.

The Role:
Demonstrate awareness and commitment to safety. Ensure personnel and job safety through working area, regular safety walk and conducting B safe observation, participate in POSCO meetings. Participate in JSA and risk assessment. Comply with emergency procedures and respond to emergency situations “Standing” for on-scene command when delegated by Supervisor or Shift Chemist. Develop subordinates by coaching, training and mentoring to develop appropriate technical skills and competencies. Understand, comply and promote a solid Team Work philosophy. Understand the company guidelines as required in own area and apply them accordingly. RGEE & procedures compliance. Understand the process of operation on offshore and onshore plants and the related sampling schedules. take a lead to maintain all working areas ensuring they are clean, safe and tidy. Understand and apply the analytical procedures and reporting channels. Operate the related instruments safely and correctly. Obtain accurate results for the analysed samples. Utilize LIMS system properly for sample login, enter results. Assist the training program for the new lab staff as directed in line with company Commitment to the training and development of Qatari nationals. Comply with, and apply, the ISO 17025 requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
High School or equivalent with certificate in the relevant discipline area.
Computer literacy in the basic Microsoft programs.
English language (verbal and written):
Analytical Professionalism
Laboratory Quality Assurance & Control System
Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
Laboratory Data Handling
Communication Skills
Sampling Techniques Handling
Analytical Testing for product Certification
Analytical Testing for process gases
Analytical Testing for Offshore Samples
Analytical Testing for Environmental Samples
Calibration & Validation for analytical instruments
Laboratory Stores & Inventory Management.
Preferably a minimum of 5 years experience. Good analytical background with knowledge of dry and wet chemistry methodologies.
