The Role:
Purpose: The individual is responsible for the operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the microreactor units supporting the testing and development of new and commercial catalysts. The individual will support the Criterion business, Research and Development and Technical Service and plays a critical role by providing assistance to Project Leads through the delivery of timely, accurate and reproducible reactor data. Accountability: Support Goal Zero and HSSE performance. Safety practices and procedures including LOTO, PSM, PTW, PPE, MOC, HEMP, Hazop, safety inspections and operating, procedures. Work with Scientists and team members on setting and executing work priorities. Unit startups/shutdowns, catalyst loading and unloading, maintain lined-out operations. Manage multiple units, provide timely and accurate activity results. Data collection and management. Proactive troubleshooting and problem solving. Equipment maintenance, calibration and validation. Procurement activities including tracking and ordering of equipment and consumables. Educational qualification: Demonstrated Goal Zero mindset and experience with WTC safety practices and procedures. Prior experience with the operation of pilot plant or other reactor systems with demonstrated troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills. Experience with managing multiple work tasks simultaneously. Proactive and results driven. Good interpersonal and team effectiveness skills. Computer experience and proficiency in using the Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
