The Role:
• The Biodomain team in Amsterdam carries out research in the area of chemical/catalytic conversion of biomass to advanced biofuels.
• The applied research equipment ranges from standard laboratory equipment to small scale (high-pressure) reactors.
• The purpose of the associate researcher is to carry out research experiments in such units.

• Execution of experiments in the field of biomass conversion.
• Evaluation of experimental results and reporting to the Responsible Scientists.

What is the function of the Biodomain Department?
In a nutshell - The Biodomain Department was set up to provide a Biosciences Technology focus for our client. Much of their work is focused on developing routes to biofuels.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience and Qualifications required:
• Experienced experimentalist in research, preferably in process related research.
• A good background in both chemistry and/or chemical engineering (HBO/MBO level).
• Clear focus on delivery and HSE.
• English sepaking and writing

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Dutch speaking
