The Company:
Our client is one of the world's largest integrated energy companies conducting business in countries all around the globe. They are engaged in every aspect of the crude oil & natural gas industry, including exploration & production, manufacturing, marketing & transportation, chemicals manufacturing & sales, geothermal, power generation, renewables & advanced technologies.

The Role:
The candidate will be working in the Lubricants and Base oil teams carrying out routine testing alongside project work.

Working in the Lubricants department the candidate will be qualified to Degree level, with laboratory experience preferably in a lubricants area.

We will consider candidates that have Industrial Experience / Recent Graduate experience within a lab environment. This is a contract role.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•BSc or HNC in Chemistry/Physics or related subjects strongly preferred with experience
•Basic lab skills with attention to detail & quality
•Aptitude for instrumental analysis
•Experience in calibration, standards preparation & troubleshooting required
•Method validation experience
•General computing skills necessary for instrument operation, word processors, spreadsheets & electronic communications a plus.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous Laboratory experience preferably in a lubricants area.
