The Company:
With operations across the world, our client uses innovation and technology to deliver energy to a growing world.
They are currently leading an integrated LNG Project in PNG that includes gas production and processing facilities including liquefaction and storage facilities

The Role:
Our client is looking to engage in a Land Agreement and Royalty Analyst for their integrated LNG project in Papua New Guinea.

They are looking for a qualified candidate to support the Project on Schedule by providing and maintaining land access, mitigation execution risks with company engagement, develop social Licence to operator and ensure conformance with all social management commitments.

The position will work closely with the land access teams and you will analyse contract obligations and monitor statutory compensation and benefit payments to the landowners for the entire scope of the project and also through into operational phase of the project.

Daily Responsibilites will include:
- Supporting and Monitoring the execution of land agreements and ensuring adherence to all contracting requirements and standards.
- Regular communications with the Land Field Lead and Coordinators to ensure Law endorsed agreements are prepared and available for negotiators

- Ensure all land activities are conducted in accordance with SSHE Standards and policies.
- Provide advise on PNG hydrocarbon resource law and the oil and gas Act

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in Law
Broad based knowledge of PNG hydrocarbon resource law
Understand PNG Government Systems
Skilled in contract drafting to work with field officers to complete negotiations with landowners adn gain legal endorsment
Strong skills in contract administration
Staff leadershp skills
Strong communication skills - both oral and written
Corporate governance intergrity
Ability to work effectively in a virtual multi - cultural team environment
Strong leadership & interpersonal influencing skills at all levels including senior management
self starter with results orientation
