The Role:
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
 Demonstrate commitment to Health Safety and Environment, through application of Company OMS requirements in respect of all Regulatory and Land Affairs team activities.
 Demonstrate ethical business practice, meeting Company's "Code of Conduct" principles.
 Ensure compliance with applicable laws, project agreements and relevant procedures. Be familiar with Guide on Land Acquisition and Compensation for SCPX project.
 Provide implementation of the developed guidance for SCPX Land Acquisition program with respect to satisfying Regulatory submission requirements for Land Allotment, Compensation, Permitting, Concordance and Approval.
 Work with Heads of District Executive Offices and Land Acquisition Commissions, municipalities
 Negotiate and facilitate execution of Extension Amendments to the existing Land Lease Agreements between land owners/users and ExCom representative acting on behalf of State.
 Provide support for timely and compliant execution of extensions of land leases for Construction phase in zone 1 of SCPX ROW (KP0-200).
 Support Project Team and Contractors in site activities in connection with local authorities and land owners.
 Provide support to Construction Contractors and affected land owners/users in land-exit activities.
 Monitor land reinstatement process with respect to satisfying Company (HSE) and Regulatory Bodies requirements; mediate between Construction Contractors and land owners and users.
 Take part in field investigations of grievance cases in coordination with SCPX Community Liaison Officers as required.
 Provide updates to databases and operations activity reports on a weekly basis.
 Support Notary Service offices in regions by collecting and providing all required information on land issues in timely and accurate manner.
 Accompany Notary officers in visits to villages and individual households as required.
 Provide technical and logistics support to land owners and users to expedite execution of Extension Amendments in expeditious and compliant manner.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 The post holder shall have experience of land acquisition processes in major projects such as BTC, SCP and preferably SCPX project.
 Be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision. Interest in aspects of land affairs, topography, construction, notary procedures and accounting will be beneficial although not a prerequisite for this position.
 Be prepared and able to work in field conditions along SCPX ROW and will accordingly be located in districts (100% work time).
 The post holder shall have strong communication and negotiation skills, verbal and written; have the ability to deal with conflicting requirements and priorities; and be able to work with various level authorities and project affected people as listed above.
 A high degree of independent and self-directed work is required for this position.
