The Company:
With operations across the world, our client uses innovation and technology to deliver energy to a growing world.
They are currently leading an integrated LNG Project in PNG that includes gas production and processing facilities including liquefaction and storage facilities

The Role:
Our client is looking to engage in a Land Mapping Interface Coordinator for their integrated LNG project in Papua New Guinea. This role will be based in Port Moresby.


Reporting to the Land and Compensation Manager, Our client is looking for a qualified candidate to support the Project on areas including:
- Providing and maintaining land access
- Community engagement work
- Developing a social license to operate

You will liaise across various areas of the project including the Land access team, the GIS Support team and also regularly communicate with the various EPC's on the Project.


Daily Responsibilites will include:
-Creating maps which the land and resettlements staff with utilise
-Providing precise hectare measurements for assets to ensure accurate compensation is paid to landowners
-Review all land takes and project assets and coordinate with land staff to document that applicable compensation has been completed
-Discuss mapping needs with GIS Brisbane as necessay and ensure maps are properly catalogued for storage and reference
-Develope processes and procedures to produce required maps for Land and Resettlement agreements
-Review Land & Resettlement team requirements and obligations and ensure maps are created to represent such obligations for agreememnts and reporting,Update maps for land reporting adn tracking of payment obligations
-Ensure current map versions are used to faclitate agreements with Landowners
-Review GPS coordinates provided by the field staff and ensure accuracy on the ground

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bacherlors Degree, preferred GIS and/ or Geography - focused degree
Experience with ArcGis Softwaree and GPS tools
Proficient in software and tools to draft and prodcute maps in multiple document formats
Broad baseed knowledge of PNG geography and areas
Strong Communication skills- both oral and written
Proven Organisational skills
Ability to work effectively in a virtual multi- culturall team enviroment
Strong leadershp and interpersonal influencing skills at all levels
