The Role:
Reporting directly to the Land Delivery Manager, the Land Operations Manager’s primary role is to serve as the principal operations lead for all activities associated with the execution of the Land Module Transportation Contract (LMTC), coordinate and manage operations at all operational areas whilst ensuring compliance with all approved plans.

Key responsibilities:
• Commits to, champions, and leads in ensuring that all logistics activity is conducted in such a manner as to ensure the protection of the environment, as well as the lives and health of all persons, either directly or indirectly, associated with the delivery of the Project.
• Provision of day-to-day management and leadership to all members of the Land Delivery Team for which responsibility and authority has been assigned.
• In addition to managing the risk and/or risk mitigation plans that have been allocated by the Logistics Risk Manager, review Logistics activity within own scopes in order to identify new risks, allow closure of existing risks, and support the mitigation/contingency planning process.

• On appointment whilst located in South west of London
o Planning, management, and delivery of the LMTC and LMT contractors for all execution phases including those under the operational control of the Construction group.
o Coordinate and align with the Inland Shipping Manager to ensure that all maritime operations are correctly planned and executed, and that communication between the groups is maintained.
o To establish, set-up, and management of key Project operational bases and infrastructure in CIS region to meet the requirements of the LMTC and its associated SOW.
o Identify, secure, and manage representatives of other functional/contractor groups seconded to the Module Delivery Team to assist with the delivery of the LMTC (i.e. Preservation & Maintenance, Security, HES, Engineering etc.).
o To maintain and provide regular updates to the Logistics Leadership Team on progress, plans, and issues related to the execution of the LMTC.
o Provide continuous coordination and interface management with Construction Group’s management team to ensure that an aligned and cohesive interface strategy is developed and executed.
o Responsible for the development, implementation, approval, and management of all execution plans associated with the LMTC.
o Ensure the correct levels of (technical) support are provided to the CaTRo Delivery Team during CaTRo Phase 3 and Phase 4 operations.

• On deployment to CIS, the Land Operations Manager shall relinquish those responsibilities outlined above for London area and will become responsible for the following:
o Serve as the principal operations representative/point of contact for all operational issues related to activities associated with the execution of the Logistics scope of the LMTC.
o Management, coordination, and delivery of all operational activities associated with the LMTC at all operational areas, and in accordance with the approved plans.
o Manage and coordinate the activities of both the Cargo Offloading Facility (COF) Operations Manager, and the Cargo Storage Facility (CSF)/Module Haul Road (MHR) Operations Manager, and ensure the interface between the two areas is suitably aligned and controlled.
o Provide updates and reports to the Land Delivery Manager as required.
o Supports the Land Delivery Manager in planning activities as required.
o Liaison and coordination with peers from the Construction group to maintain clear communication lines and align/coordinate efforts and plan movements of cargo from the CSF to site, and relay this information to the COF, and CSF/MHR Operations Managers.
o Continuously monitor performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement any required changes at field level.
o Review, approve, and sign all daily work reports submitted by the LMT Contractor for works they perform in relation to the Logistics scope of works, and forward to the LMT Contract Administrator.
o Approve field-level decisions in support of the execution of the contract and to ensure that all relevant groups are informed of the change.
o Serve as the primary point of contact with the COF owner (Operator) for operational matters related to their scope of work in relation to both the COF and the CSF/MHR. Ensure that all work required is coordinated to ensure minimal disruption to planned activities occurs.
o Coordinate and manage the mobilization of all LMT contractor equipment and personnel required to support the Logistics scope of work at country level.
