The Role:
Reporting directly to the Land Delivery Manager, the Land Operations Manager’s primary role is to serve as the principal operations lead for all activities associated with the execution of the Land Module Transportation (LMT) contract and Cargo Transportation Route contract, coordinate and manage operations at all operational areas whilst ensuring compliance with all approved plans. Key responsibilities:
• Commits to, champions, and leads the development and promotion of a safe working culture, complete with policies and procedures (including IIF) for all Logistics, Infield Haul Road (IHR) and Phase 3 Gas Processing (3GP) laydown operations.
• Provision of day-to-day management and leadership to all members of the Land Operations Team for which responsibility and authority has been assigned.
• In addition to managing the risk and/or risk mitigation plans that have been allocated by the Logistics Risk Manager, review Logistics activity within own scopes in order to identify new risks, allow closure of existing risks, and support the mitigation/contingency planning process.
• To provide an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) operation throughout the full scope of execution activities under the LoM’s responsibility.
• To ensure a robust and reliable HES system and structure, in line with Chevron requirements, to cover all onshore and offshore activities to be performed at the, IHR and 3GP laydown area.
• Serve as the senior operations representative/point of contact for the Land Delivery Team for all operational issues related to activities associated with the execution of the Logistics scope of the LMT and CaTRo Contractors.
• Management, of the Operations Team in their safe coordination, and delivery of all operational activities associated with the LMT Contractors at all operational areas, in accordance with the approved plans.
• To ensure compliance with all applicable standards pertaining to the operations of the LMT and CaTRo contractors (including all applicable RoK Statutory requirements, MWS guidelines and procedures)
• Oversee the alignment of operational activities between the Land Operations team, the RIWS Operations team and the Construction Operations teams
• Supports the Land Delivery Manager in planning activities as required.
• Provide updates and reports to the Land Delivery Manager as required.
• Continuously monitor performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement any required changes at operations level.
• Review, approve, and sign all daily work reports submitted by the LMT Contractor for works they perform in relation to the Logistics scope of works.
• Approve field-level decisions in support of the execution of the contract and to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of the change.
• Coordinate and manage the mobilization of all LMT and Contractor equipment and personnel required to support the Logistics scope of work at country level.
