The Role:
To support strategic operational logistics planning for the safe and efficient conduct of operations. This position will mobilize to Aktau and then move to Prova later this year.

Job functions and responsibilities
* Be a leader in safe operations.
* Contributes to safety program, health and environment protection, reliability and efficiency in order to achieve world-class performance of TCO OE strategies.
* Actively participate in BBS program and contribute to IIF culture.
* Work together with the resident contractors within the COF/CSF, other teams and disciplines, stakeholders and suppliers, in addition to regulatory authorities and external agencies.
* Direct, advise, guide and coordinate with the contractor's to achieve the required deliverables
* Ensure all deliverables are in compliance with contract terms & conditions, in addition to TCO expectations and requirements
* Participate in planning and review sessions with key stakeholders and contractor's
* Lead safety meetings/toolbox talks with contractor's & other stakeholders if required
* Review contractor plans and procedures to ensure that they meet the required deliverables and expectations
* Review contractor Work Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to ensure that work is conducted in accordance with agreed methods
* Ensure contractors are utilizing all applicable Safe Work Practices (SWP) and procedures
* Take corrective action to address any faults and report as required
* Review future plans and recommend, or implement strategies where necessary to ensure minimal or no impact to operations
* Assist with incident investigations to determine the root cause and take action accordingly if required.
* Conduct mentoring and coaching of the contractor teams as required to develop their level of competence and knowledge of TCO procedures and expectations.
* Conduct contractor performance reviews and develop campaigns and strategies to influence improvement in performance.
* Other tasks as directed by Land Delivery Manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education:
* Professional Planning Qualification/equivalent related work experience
* Related Degree preferred (not essential)

Work experience:
* At least 5 years of experience in a Planning and scheduling facilities management, construction and/or logistics related role in the Oil & Gas industry. Minimum of 15 years total experience.
* Construction or major capital project experience desirable.

PC knowledge and skills:
* MS Project 2013 primary tool for planning
* MS Office Suite, desk top package
* Primavera P6 project management ( exposure desirable)
* Garner integrated Logistics system
* Proficient with most Microsoft Office based applications and shared document management systems

Must have the skills to:

* Daily, weekly and master schedule planning with various look heads.
* Develop and implement planning tools, schedules,
* Liaise with subcontractors planning activities, review, develop main schedule scopes
* Implement and coordinate the project

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Language skills:
* English (level 3+ and higher) - Kazakh and/or Russian is also an advantage
