The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Take specific responsibilities from the Launch Leader in respect of supporting the launch deliverables.
Support Launch team meeting cadence e.g. Start-up / Board walk / High Hurts / LCMs
Coordinate the resolution of AIMs to achieve targeted glidepath to closure.
Coordinate Change Management activities for electrical parts in support of launch objectives and AIMs resolution.
Support analysis and resolution of electrical PD issues impacting Plant performance e.g. Electrical FTT.
Support analysis and resolution of electrical issues that deviate from target e.g. PCPA, REA/FEU/CEU issues..
Coordinate and support any electrical component & Vehicle reworks required and plant build containments
Support handover to Electrical PVT post launch activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of whole vehicle electrical systems Knowledge and experience of JLR processes and methods (e.g. AIMS, WERS, FMS) Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation Willingness and ability to present and report out to all Management levels
2. Knowledge of CANAlyzer, ASL Knowledge of Solihull Plant processes Able to build relationships with suppliers Knowledge of software delivery control plans
3. Knowledge of Quality/Problem Solving Tools (Global 8d, 6 Panel,..) Ability to assimilate and process large quantities of data Ability to work in high-pressure environment and to challenging deadlines

Worked at least 5 years on Automotive Electrical systems with a OEM or first tier supplier

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of working as part of a vehicle production facility as Electrical Engineer in launch or current engineering
Highly organised
Able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
Self-motivated & enthusiastic with a proactive approach Creative in problem solving
