The Role:
Launch Reliability Engineer
Ensure spare part availability for the Plant.
Liaise with Ford Suppliers to identify and source specific items and to review cost saving proposals.
Source and specify new items as required by individual request or resulting from new or modified equipment.
Review existing items for reliability, obsolescence and inventory control.
Control of Repairable Assets.
Control of annual Service and Repair contracts.
Management of Contractor Health & Safety.
Point of contact for Plant Maintenance teams

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A high level of motivation, initiative and creativity
A flexible approach to cope with frequent change
Knowledge of quality tools, such as 6 Sigma, G8D, FMEA & DCP
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a demanding workload
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to analyse and present data
Good Problem Solving ability
Good technical knowledge of automated processes and equipment used in the automotive industry.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Computer literacy is essential, preferred packages to include Word, Excel and Microsoft Project.
Mechanical engineering background.
Relevant engineering degree qualified (or studying)
