The Role:
The LBL Engineer performs all office and field related engineering assignments as defined by the Manager Offshore Personnel & Resources and / or the Project Manager.

Some of the specific tasks are:
• Execute given work ensuring it is within project targets and in accordance with specifications, procedures and work practices.
• Execute positioning and navigation tasks according to survey procedures and client requirements.
• Responsible for the repair, maintenance and testing of equipment in field locations.
• Compile engineering reports in given format.
• Perform all administrative and logbook duties according to the guidelines.
• Adhere to Company QA/HSE standards at all times, and demonstrate thorough awareness of and compliance with the QA/HSE system and its requirements
• Undertake any other duties as appropriate within their competence, as required by the Manager Offshore Personnel & Resources from time to time.
• Working closely with other field staff offshore, with Project Management and Processing & Reporting Manager on a project basis

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The candidate is flexible, stress resistant, has an accurate work practice and a hands-on mentality.
• B.Sc. level or Diploma in engineering or related field, or sufficient offshore experience.
• Conversant with computer operation and a knowledge of application software.
• Experience with LBL Acoustics, Starfix Seis, ROV Interfacing, Digital Video II
• English language.
• Be a team player with good communication skills;
• Ability to work and travel offshore locally and internationally;
