The Role:
The LBL Surveyor performs all office and field related survey assignments, as defined by the Project Manager or Operations Manager.
Some of the specific tasks include:
• Execute positioning and navigation tasks according to survey procedures and client requirements;
• Perform computations, data processing, field reporting and survey reporting in accordance with specifications;
• Perform appropriate checks of data and computations;
• Ensure all safety standards are met and followed;
• The position demands responsibility and necessity to set example.
• Working closely with other field staff offshore, with Project Management and Processing & Reporting Manager on a project basis

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The candidate is flexible, stress resistant, has an accurate work practice and a hands-on mentality.
• B.Sc. or Diploma Hydrographic Survey or equivalent;
• Min. 3 years related experience in the offshore survey industry;
• Experience with offshore navigation and positioning systems;
• Experience with LBL/USBL subsea acoustic positioning systems;Starfix Seis; ROV Pre-lay Surveys; Digital Video II
• English language, both written and spoken;
• Good computer skills;
• Be a team player with good communication skills;
• Ability to work and travel offshore locally and internationally;
