The Company:
A major Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
For a LNG Plant & grrenfield project, the Service Provider shall

Coordinate the detailed design and procurement engineering activities by the EPC CONTRACTOR within his/her area during the EPC phase.
Coordinate and organize the works and activities under his/her area of the Senior and Junior Area Project Engineers directly reporting to him.
Work closely with the LNG Facilities Engineering Manager and LNG Trains Area Manager in order to set the priorities and objectives for his/her area.
Replace the LNG Facilities Engineering Manager when on mission, training or leave.
Call for, participate to and/or organise all the necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the works within the area he/her is in charge of.
Ensure Area overall design consistency with the other Work Packages (including interfaces management at tie-ins points), optimization, operability and flexibility which implies leadership towards other packages in particular with the “Utilities & Common Facilities Area” and “Inlet Facilities”.
Ensure that the Area design complies with the Project S.O.R., the contract documentation, schedule, budget and safety practices.
Avoid LNG plant EPC contractor stand-by/delays, ensuring on time responses to engineering queries and request for waiver (if any) and unexpected technical issues, by a proactive and proefficient approach, which implies day to day and close coordination with the engineering manager, the Area Manager and the disciplines leaders.
Initiate, prepare technical and contractual letters to EPC Contractor and prepare answers to the ones received from the EPC Contractor.
Provide weekly reporting to the Engineering Manager and report area of concerns within his/her area, propose corrective actions.
Follow-up the procurement activities by the EPC Contractor, including the Long Lead Items for his Area to secure project schedule.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Diploma: Chartered “Generalist” Engineer with proven above 15 years experience with large onshore/offshore plants and project management in general, with a strong technical background.
Proven experience with Project Engineering, EPC Contracts, multi-disciplines coordination, contractual approach towards the works.
Experience with LNG Plant is a must.
