The Company:
Our client (big oil & gas company) is looking for Lead Civil Structural Engineer

The Role:
The job responsibilities Lead Civil Structural Engineer are identified on the basis and in the scope of the qualification requirements, and may be amended and identified according to the Job Description as required.

Purpose: to be a Technical Authority expert to Projects in the Civil and Structural Engineering discipline. The primary task of the Civil Structural Engineer is the delivery of TA2 engineering support to Projects in all phases of the ORP both onshore and offshore.

Job Description:
Fulfill Civil/Structural Engineering TA2 responsibilities as defined by the DCAF process across a wide range of Projects being developed in the Company.
Enable Company Projects to deliver all development projects by executing project activities, including conceptual design, FEED Design, Detailed Design, Construction, Installation.
Provide input to the development of project execution contracting strategies that complement designs, construction methods and operating methods.
Manage outsourced work to Engineering Consultants and Contractors.
Operational and commissioning support.
Ensure that Standards are clear and understood.
Equipment specification development and procedures.
Discipline philosophies, policies and procedures.
Technical Integrity governance and assurance.
Discipline knowledge and advice.
Discipline integrity and direction.
Finding allignment between stakeholders on Russian and international standards.
Differing way of working between stakeholders
Coaching local staff

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Applicants should generally meet the technical competencies given in the Civil & Structural Engineering Job Competency profile within the Technical Professional Competency Framework.
Additional relevant experience includes:
- General knowledge of fixed offshore platforms (steel and concrete).
- Experience in design and construction of offshore facilities and associated familiarity with structural design and analysis tools, like SACS, USFOS.
- Familiarity with onshore civil/structural engineering
- Working knowledge of industry Standards for design of steel and concrete offshore structures, API RP 2A, Shell DEP and ISO 19902.
- Familiarity with ice mechanics and ice loading on structures (ISO 19906).
- Familiarity with effects of wave and current on offshore structures.
- Familiarity with basic seismicity and design of structures to withstand earthquakes.
- Familiarity with Shell DEP on earthquakes and ISO 19901-2.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Education:
Higher professional education in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture and additional training in above mantion disciplines.

The minimal previous work experience under the speciality shall be 10-15 years.
