The Role:
The Lead Civil/Structural Engineer will manage the civil/structural engineering discipline and scope required for successful completion of the Multi Phase Pump (MPP) Project.

Review the Civil Structural Scope of Work (SoW), Schedule and E&P Contractor's Cost, Time and Resource (CTR) loading and communicate any discrepancies to the Engineering Manager.
* Ensure all project information related to design, procurement and construction is accurate and timely, meets the relevant standards and specifications and is made available to the project team in line with the required schedule.
* Review and communicate progress and performance status to the Engineering Manager, flagging any potential slippage and areas of concern.
* Review and approve all required Civil Structural design documentation produced by the engineering contractor, and ensure that plant personnel provide input to the design at each stage of the project.
* Ensure key stakeholders (Plant operations, maintenance, reliability, engineering) are effectively engaged at all phases of project development specific to Civil Structural. Work with E&P Contractor, Regulatory Affair and Expertizing Contractor in preparation of Technical Project Documentation (TPD) to obtain necessary approvals for Construction permits.
* Ensure engineering drawings and design packages are issued by the E&P Contractor as per the project plans to support subcontracting and construction needs.
* Ensure that design packages are transmitted by the E&P Contractor to enable the timely planning, contracting and efficient field execution.
* Ensure engineering standards and practices are followed on all project work.
* Provide engineering assistance to the project planners, estimator on questions related to civil / structural materials, scope definition, and construction activity planning.
* Apply appropriate VIPs, gather and apply lessons learned, best practices. Ensure MPP designs support Environmental Stewardship intents.
* Participate in Design Reviews, Cold-eye Reviews, Model Reviews, SID Reviews.
* Prepare Engineering Scope of Work (SoW) for Construction Contracting.
* Prepare Material Requisition as needed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree from an internationally recognised university
Strong experience with steel reinforced concrete design, underground civil works, drainage, piling, foundation, above ground civil works, pipe-racks, heavy equipment foundation and prefabricated open ended enclosures.
Full working knowledge of all the current Civil-Structural softwares utilized during design including STAAD. Able to analyse software input, output, results and conclusions.
Oil & gas industry experience is required.
