The Company:

The Role:
1. Deliver discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the company, the client's and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
2. Lead and manage the discipline or discipline team, and ensure that the design and drafting services they deliver meet project requirements on time and within budget.
3. Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as:
a) ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes;
b) if required, participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions;
c) prepare and oversee the production of engineering drawings and documentation;
d) ensure all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with the company checking procedures; and
e) participate in project reviews as required.
4. Provide specialist technical direction and advice to the discipline, discipline team and project teams; participate in peer reviews and consult relevant resources as required.
5. Actively contribute to the development and improvement of the company design systems, processes, practices and procedures.
6. Lead and manage the relevant discipline or discipline team including:
a) outline project requirements, assign tasks and supervise progress;
b) ensure the overall technical integrity of its work;
c) ensure the required services meet the company, its clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements;
d) motivate and manage the team's performance and develop staff within the group including the provision of on the job training;
e) in conjunction with the Design Manager, identify and manage discipline resources including forecasting workload and competency requirements, and utilise Workshare where possible.
7. Communicate effectively with the discipline, discipline team, clients and other project stakeholders, and make presentations as required.
8. Represent the group both within the compay and with external parties such as clients and contractors.
9. Establish and maintain good working relationships within the company, with its clients and other stakeholders.
10. Proactively resolve any discrepancies between the companyand the client's requirements.
11. Identify issues and problems; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required.
12. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in the discipline.
13. Where required, prepare or assist in the preparation of project documentation such as budgets, estimates, forecasts, schedules and reports.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Excellent technical and practical design and drafting skills in the relevant discipline, and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to WorleyParsons and its clients.
2. Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and a sound knowledge of design software.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Extensive design and leadership experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
