The Company:
A Major International Oil and Gas Operator require a Russian Speaking Lead Document Control and Administrator

The Role:
•To define, set-up and implement a stragegy of documentation/technical and contract correspondences management from the beginning of the project until the documentation is handed over to Operations or Archives; and to develop the project EDMS (Electronic Documentation Management System), using either Total proprietary PRODOM or similar EDMS.
•To prepare the related Project specifications and procedures.
•To coordinate and interact with the other Lead DCCs of the project located at various locations. To ensure that all project correspondence and technical documents, produced internally by the project or by EPC contractors and Russian Design Institues, are in accordance with project document control specifications and procedures.

•To support the project at the very early stage of the project in setting up the appropriate EDMS specifications and procedures, and actively participate to the installation, implementation, tests and training of the project EDMS solution.
•To organise the project EDMS from definition of request to contractors until delivery to Field Operations.
•To set up the Project MDDM and provides regular updates as required. To ensure smooth distribution of the EPCs contractors and RDIs deliverables to the project members, in particular disciplines engineers and project management teams. To prepare the weekly and monthly EDMS reports.
•To ensure that consolidated comments are returned to the EPCs Contractors and RDIs, in accordance with the schedule.
•To implement, modify and maintain the EDMS so as to efficiently manage the flow of documents, both electronic and printed.
•To coordinate and, if necessary, to train local document controllers (LDCs) on each work package and in each work location, to ensure consistent implementation of the EDMS.
•To prepare the handover of project documentation to Field Operations and to file documents in the archives.
•To analyse the document produced by contractors to check their compliance with project standards regarding numbering, graphic charts, symbology and all other aspects related to document quality.
•To check the progress of contractors’ document production, submission dates (actual/planned and % completed) in coordination with scheduling engineers.
•To provide Project Service Manager, Interfaces Manager and Engineering Manager(s) with all relevant information required for weekly/monthly project reporting.
•To liaise closely with contractors’ DC staff on all matters concerning document control and the EDMS.
•To provide EDMS training, advice and support to all project staff at all project locations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Specialized DCC/EDMS consultant with extensive experience in the oil & gas industry including petroleum engineering and surface facilities installations management.
Proven experience with similar project, in particular fast track project.
Proven experience in preparation of EDMS specifications and procedures, and initial set-up of project EDMS.
Good communication and managerial skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
Strong team leader able to take proper actions and decisions to respect targets.
Fluent in English. Speaking, reading and writing Russian would be a must.
