The Company:
Our Client is a Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The Role:
This role supports our client's operations in Iraq.

• Implement and develop a robust document control system to encompass internal departments and external organisations.
• Liaise with operational and other department document controllers to maintain and standardise company’s document management database.
• Ensure the timely turnaround of the project's documentation issued internally or received externally.
• Oversee and prepare project documentation close out of projects, hard copy & electronically.
• Prepare project documentation for archive, hard copy & electronically.
• Highlight any anomalies in working practices/processes across the departments to line manager.
• Participate and attend team meetings.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implementation and upkeep of DM database and associated registers and systems.
• Awareness of, and comply with all project procedures.
• Issue documents and drawings in a controlled manner, using DM database.
• Receive incoming documentation and drawings in a controlled manner, using DM database.
• Ensure project drawings and documents are issued in a controlled manner and within agreed time-scales, this includes work pack preparation and issue.
• Prepare and administer agreed distribution matrices.
• Ensure that both hard copy and electronic documentation is filed in an accurate and retrieval manner.
• Deputise for Senior Document Controller, provision of holiday/sickness cover when required.

HS & E Responsibilities:

• Responsible for DM compliance will all organisational health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Identifying and recommending shortfalls and deficiencies within DM management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree Qualified with Direct Experience.
