The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
We are looking for a Document Control Lead to be the subject matter expert and champion of document control processes and systems to ensure that the company is managing the integrity of documents as per international and Australian quality standards.

Reporting to the information manager, your key deliverables will include but are not limited to;
• Lead the network of document controllers across the business including mentoring and coaching in document control methodologies, company processes and systems.
• Applying international and Australian quality and document control standards to the company to improve governance, processes and systems. Develop and maintain taxonomies, metadata for content management systems, including acting as custodian for DMS information architecture.
• Conduct audits across the business areas to improve compliance with document control process and systems.
• Developing and maintaining document control governance documentation including procedures, specifications, guidelines, work instructions, forms, quick reference guides and training material.
• Custodian of the controlled document metadata, applying change control to ensure that it is up to data and meets business requirement.
• Delivering training to document controllers and business users.
• Priority business activities and operational backlogs (including document registration, classification, remediation, clean-up, rationalization)
• Ensure optimization of controlled document system usage & work processes including Management of Changes to the system.
• Assist in developing commercial strategies to maintain the reliability, accessibility and integrity of information management systems.
• To minimize risks associated with poor integrity documents ensure that business areas are complying with the document control governance, processes and properly using the system.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Strong professional experience in a lead document controller role, with a post-secondary qualification desirable.
• Excellent understanding of ISO9001 quality management.
• Excellent understanding of document control governance frameworks and governance.
• Experience performing document control activities to support Asset Operations and management systems.
• With attention to detail, organization skills, well developed verbal and written skills in addition to being a great team player, you will be a highly valued member of the team.
