The Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for a Lead E&I Engineer based in Perth on a 12 month contract. The position will lead and manage the discipline team and the discipline scope for the assigned project, and achieve project outcomes. You will also be responsible for the technical integrity of the deliverables and activities of the discipline team for the project.

Key accountabilities includes:
• Lead and manage the discipline team for the project and ensure that they deliver project requirements on time and within budget.
• Manage all aspects of the discipline scope for the project, implementing requirements including technical integrity, safety in design, and sustainable design where applicable.
• Liaise with other engineering and technical personnel including personnel from other disciplines to ensure overall project goals are met.
• Ensure that the project and any changes to the project comply with:
(a) Systems’, policies, processes, procedures and standards;
(b) Applicable statutory and regulatory requirements; and
(c) the project scope of work.
• Ensure that the discipline team complies with the change management process.
• Support the associated procurement, contracting and construction strategies and processes to ensure that project deliverables meet project requirements on time and within budget.
• Where required, prepare or assist in the preparation of project documentation such as budgets, estimates, forecasts, schedules, and reports.
• Lead and manage the team, motivate them and manage their performance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experienced E&I engineering expertise at Lead level within the oil & gas experience
• Highly effective people management skills such as leadership, team, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring and supervisory skills. Must be able to build, motivate, develop and manage an effective team.
• Highly effective management skills including the ability to plan, set goals; and manage time, priorities, resources, accountabilities, schedules and cost.
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups.
