The Role:
**Please note candidates must be Fluent French Speaker in order to be considered for this position**

• To follow and check the engineering electrical & Instrument work performed by the contractor (the contractor) and subcontractors and to give project’s comments or approval as required
• To follow and check the engineering electrical & Instrument work performed by the CONTRACTOR Items Vendors and subvendors and to give project’s comments or approval as required
• To interface with the other packages in order to ensure consistency of the design of the overall Plant

• To follow the progress of the engineering work performed by the Contractor/Vendors and to approve or comment on the progress figures and supporting documents produced by the contractor/Vendors.
• To check the quality of the engineering documents prepared by the Contractor/Vendor, and to comment on and/or approve these promptly, in accordance with contract procedures and requirements.
• To check the incorporation of such comments by the Contractor/Vendor.
• To check Contractor/Vendor activity related to:
- The preparation and issue of all necessary MTOs and requisitions
- The review of vendor’s recommended spares for equipment and the preparation of the recommended list of spares for two years’ operation.
• To monitor the development by the Contractor/Vendor of performance tests for major equipment and packages, at the vendor’s or supplier’s factory and on the plant, and to participate in some of such tests as appropriate.
• To participate in weekly and monthly meetings with the Contractor/Vendor; and to participate as required in specific ad hoc meetings.
• To participate in technical reviews as appropriate:
- at the detailed engineering stage
- related to the procurement/supply activities
- at pre-construction mobilisation
- at the construction stage
- at the commissioning stage.
• To prepare data and commentary as required for the internal weekly and monthly reports.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Graduate engineering highly specialised in its discipline, with at least 10 years’ experience of work as discipline specialist on large onshore/offshore oil & gas project.
• Experience in the design of Power Plant is an advantage
• Fluency in French and English (speaking and writing), good communication skills.
