The Company:
Our client is an International Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
We are currently looking for an EU / UK Lead Electrical Engineer.
• Leading the Company’s Electrical Engineering effort on the project.
• Manage the IVB’s and Class Society’s activities associated with the FPSO or TLP electrical equipment.
• Integrate with other disciplines to ensure the electrical design is robust, compliant and fit for purpose.
• Participate in PEER reviews.
• Generation and maintenance of detailed performance standards and technical specifications
• Working as part of the engineering team.
• Interfacing with Operations and the IVB to ensure acceptance of the design, construction and commissioning effort.
• Management of shipyard and module builders/equipment suppliers during vessel fit out and integration.
• Play a key role in the overall commissioning strategy.
• Supervision of FEED and Detail Design process.
• Definition of requirements for electrical (including power generation and distribution and instrumentation) equipment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Extensive experience on FPSO or TLP projects
• Shipyard construction experience and extensive knowledge of UK/North Sea regulations and UKCS rules.
• Previous experience with engineering, design, installation and operations support of electrical power systems.
• At least 10—15 year’s relevant oil & gas experience.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Work experience in both EPC Contractor and Operator roles.
