The Company:
Our Client is engaged in front end studies, modifications to existing platforms operations and maintenance contracts, field decommissioning and removal. The company has some 2,200 employees. Field development with new platforms covering all engineering disciplines. Procurement, material administration and project management.

The Role:
To provide expert discipline engineering support to the production assembly & test area’s.
To perform RCA of products and systems, take corrective action as appropriate.
Continuously Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering support processes that support RCA & product/system performance
To ensure the processes for RCA is fully embedded into the business.
To ensure Quality and root cause are first and foremost in our behaviours, with delivery & cost secondary but not ignored.
To respond to the Quality Notices through disposition and resolution.
Fully investigate all defects, capture & record within the Root Cause Analysis System.
Supporting Operations in particular Suppply chain Management towards vendors/suppliers. Liase with suppliers to help resolve technical problems, to create a right first time culture.
Supoort FAT & EFAT’s also for Root Cause Analysis of any defects reported.
Ensure all aspects of design, i.e engineering, manufacture, HSE, cost, form fit & function have been correctly identified and addressed.
Maintain and improve/simplify our processes.
Lead and provide guidance to discipline production engineers in all aspects of engineering within the Operating System & PEM processes & procedures.
Full collaboration with “Technical Authority (TA)” within the Controls CoE whom have accountability for the products & technical solutions. Responsibility to interface towards the Chief Engineering to ensure all faults are reported, investigated and corrective actions implemented.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified
Demonstrable experience within the Subsea sector or Oil & Gas industry.
Demonstrable, relevant Controls System & Product experience
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge in SAP.
Communication skills
Team player in and across functions/groups.
Organised & methodical.
Decision maker and solution orientated.
Ability to work under own initiative.
