The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. The Role:
To act as the Lead Engineer for CWP A/B.
To assist the CWP A/B manager in the management of the Contract for the installation of the 18” import pipelines and 30” gas export pipeline.
To manage the direct reports in the CWP A/B onshore technical team including the Pipelines Engineer, Offshore Installation Engineer, Welding Engineer, Subsea Structures Engineer, Shore Approach Engineer and Onshore Works Engineer.
To ensure that all the interfaces with CWP C have been correctly identified and a management plan is in place to administer these interfaces.
To actively manage the interfaces with CWP C and with other Project internal and external interfaces.
To ensure that all relevant documentation created by the CWP A/B Contractor is reviewed and commented on by the relevant specialists within the appropriate time frame.
To participate in the Weekly and Monthly Meetings held at the offices of the CWP A/B Contractor.
To attend meetings held at the offices in Aberdeen and other sites as required.
To ensure the CWP A/B facilities are delivered to specification.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualified to degree level with extensive experience of the safe management of pipeline engineering, construction and installation operations
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Fully conversant with standard software packages (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).
Good communication skills and a team player able to function under the pressure of tight working deadlines.
Able to manage and motivate a team of experienced professionals. Define clear work objectives and associated time frame for delivery. Manage a multitude of parallel and critical tasks by setting priorities in order to achieve the overall objectives.
Familiar with the relevant legislation and regulatory framework.Fully conversant with HSE legislation.
