Our client is one of the worlds largest providers of technical services across a wide range of sectors, including nuclear.

The Role:
Based - Westlakes/Sellafield

Our client is loking for 2 Lead Engineers to work on Safety Case Assessment work in the nuclear sector.

1 x Lead Mechanical Engineer
1 x Lead Electrical Engineer

Job Description:
To assess and produce Design Justification Reports and Design Assessment Reports as part of Safety Case re-assessment and Engineering Substantiation.
Provide progress to the Package Managers via the Project Controls team.

Must be able to specify the management and technical activities during the overall E/E/PE safety engineering lifecycle phases which are necessary for the achievement of the required functional safety of E/E/PE safety systems.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
HNC level educated or Time served in an Engineering discipline – can be either Mechanical or Electrical.
Must have experience in writing Design Justification Reports and Design Assessment Reports.
Experienced in Nuclear Industry is essential.
Good Communication skills.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
SC cleared or P20 Pass holder or P4 pass holder
Monitored (or Classified) Worker.
