The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
• As a senior member of the HSE Department, the role will focus on the strategic objectives of the PS business, ensuring that the highest standards of environmental compliance and performance are achieved, monitored & maintained and to drive continuous improvement in all areas of PS activity.
• Lead the development of Environmental policies & processes consistent with Legislation, and ESI / Construction Industry best practice.
• Define, document, maintain and continuously improve the environmental elements of the Integrated Business Management System(s)
• Provide cost effective specialist environmental support and advice to tendering and project delivery teams throughout the project life cycle
• Provide internal service for audit and inspection of projects and departmental processes to monitor performance & identify areas for improvement.
• Lead on the development of environmental performance improvement strategies and campaigns linked to key business objectives & targets for implementation internally & through supply chain partners.
• Produce monthly environmental KPIs and management information for review and action by PS management team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Environmental professional with construction project experience.
• Experience of dealing with local authorities and discharging planning consents.
• Qualified to Diploma level in environmental Management
• Strong organisational & communication skills
• Conversant with environmental legislation and best practice.
• Member of a relevant professional body
• Computer literate & proficient IT skills
