The Company:
Our client is the leading engineering technology solutions and turnkey contracting provider in Asia Pacific for the design and construction of hydrocarbon field development, oil refining, gas processing, petrochemicals and selected non-hydrocarbon projects. They support Onshore, Offshore and Subsea sectors.

The Role:

To produce the estimate for a specific proposal and/ or project and to update the

estimating database.

Internally: :

Proposal, Engineering, Procurement and Construction, Finance, Tax Dept., Legal,

Project Management team.

Externally :

Subcontractors/ Suppliers & Clients


Must have :

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.


Nice to have :

At least 10 years experience in Project execution

Basic understanding of the principles of cost control, estimating, management and project


Experience in process design and construction management.


To study and understand the scope of work, contract, schedule, project execution, local conditions, construction execution, financing scheme of a specific proposal.
Follow up and coordinating with other departments for bill of quantities and firming up costs.
Prepares the cost estimate/ overall cost summary/ cash flow and exposure as well as present these at the ATT and ATC meetings.
Prepares the price break down for the proposal manager for submission.
Prepares the final estimate and present it for handover to project management after proposal award.
Maintain the data bank to ensure data is updated.
Conducts cost review meeting with internal departments and Proposal, Procurement and Construction.
Actively involved in risk review meetings to ensure accuracy of cost risk evaluation.
Supports projects in final estimates understanding and in developing important change order estimates when required.
