The Company:
Our client a UK based refining and marketing company, have interests in a number of facilities in the United Kingdom, employing around 1000 people throughout the UK and over 33000 worldwide. They have had their presence on Teesside for over 30 years, processing and storing crude oil ready for shipment along with being an established supplier of bulk fuels, including LPG, to the commercial, aviation and marine industries.

The Role:
Responsibilities:


•Responsible for the management and upgrade of all occupied buildings (inc fixtures and fittings) which form part of the Teesside terminal, including any hired offices / blast rated cabins.



•Responsible for ensuring all buildings are maintained to a satisfactory standard, actioning any maintenance reported through Building Owners as required.



•Co-ordinate all maintenance and project activities which relate to all car parks and roads.



•Responsible for the management, co-ordination and on-site supervision of key service contractors.



•Accountable for aligning relevant service contractor objectives to support the Teesside Strategic Plan.



•Continuality seek to improve the effectiveness and motivation of contractor teams through monitoring their progress and via the provision of suitable training and supervision



•Ensure all contractors for which you are responsible for fully understand and comply with the site standards and specifications.



•Work with the supply chain function to ensure nominated service contracts are reviewed, developed and offer the best value for the Teesside terminal. Arrange monthly contractor review meeting where appropriate



•Complete regular audits on key service contractors to ensure standards are maintained.



•Responsible for maintaining risk assessment standards, review and approve relevant contractor risk assessment and method statements ensuring compliance with the Company's Procedures and standards



•Liaise regularly with Ops Support Supervision and Planning Department to ensure that Zone 0 maintenance works associated with Facilities are appropriately planned and actioned in a timely manner.



•Manages and controls budget of site vehicle and bicycle budget and active member of the Vehicle Project team, ensuring that vehicles comply with site standards and procedures.



•Management of main site Reception area and staff as required.



•Responsible for the management of all Facilities service contracts



•Organise/attend regular review meetings and develops KPI with key contractors



•Develops and implements the contract improvement plan, including challenging contractor working practices on the site (i.e. generic risk assessment and method statements). Identifies and makes recommendations for contract improvements / developments.



•Responsible for service delivery management and resolution of any issues



•Responsible for delivering the annual contract performance review including spend profile, productivity measure as agreed.



•Manages / Controls the day to day resource levels and adjusts accordingly for productivity and work delivery.



•Defines the contract administration and organization to delivery the service inline with the scope / expectations and cost constraints



•Ensures monthly invoices are appropriately validated before being approved.



•Develops and implements contract audit programmed (including cost, training, competency)



•Responsible for the contract administration (including P2P, accounts)



•Manages the contract spend and cost profile within the agreed boundaries



•Development of bridging documents and implementation where necessary



•Prepares monthly report and summary

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Educated to Degree level or demonstrable experience with regard to maintenance activities Standards and Programmes
•Extensive contract management experience and appropriate knowledge maintained through regular training in managing contracts

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Skills:
•Knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, etc
•Competent in the use of SAP programme, specifically in PM and MM modules to a profiecient level
•Working knowledge of COMAH
