The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national organization which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves in conducting operations in accordance with the world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
This position provides site supervision for overall safety, field execution and contractors performance on all project construction activities. Supervision responsibilities include, onsite safety audits, participation in near miss, safety observation programs. Assurance that all Company and Local Governmental policies are enforced and adhered to.
The Lead Field Engineer is responsible for:
•Review IFRC documents and provide input to the engineering team
•Direct the field engineering team and prioritise work
•Coordinate with Construction Interface Engineer to ensure all engineering issues are resolved efficiently
•Attend constructability review
•Look ahead to upcoming construction work and ensure engineering team focus on future work
•Review engineering interface between contractor executing adjacent scope of work
•Attend KO meetings
•Ensure contractors fully understand the scope of work, SEQ responsibilities etc

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•High educational degree from a university or technical institute is highly desired in engineering or industrial sciences.
•Minimum 8-10 years of experience in specific area - construction, construction management, quality control, commissioning.
•Working knowledge of industry codes governing work in assigned discipline. Familiar with industry codes governing work in other disciplines.
•Experience in an international location is desirable. Because of the technical make-up of the facilities, a background of both upstream and downstream experience is desirable, but not a must, or experience with sour gas oilfields or processing facilities.
•Be a team player with good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, and demonstrate strong team and project management capabilities.
•Experience and understanding of Capital Project Drivers (Safety, Project processes and procedures).
