The Company:
A global Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
The team is a small select group of individuals manning the transactional and strategic direction of the resources of the project.

Experience of Local Egyptian Employment Legislation essential.

Position Summary
This role is to :
• Support the delivery of HR support and services to the various functions.
• Provide technical and operational support for HR information systems, including creating and running ad hoc queries from SAP, Fusion Oracle, HR Direct and other systems.
• Work with HR Direct to develop appropriate dashboards, visualisations and reports of key people/performance indicators (KPIs) e.g., hiring, turnover, exit data and tenure, disability and leaves of absence trends in diagnosis, duration and location/manager, employee engagement, staffing speed to hire/quality of hire, external compensation data and trends, local/asset performance and compensation trends, headcount, training and development and diversity.
• Be responsible for relevance, accuracy and timeliness of all HR data by regularly auditing data and prompting HRBPs, administrators and line managers to address data deficiencies.
• Assist with the Payroll function
• Work with HR Managers to develop action plans for specific projects eg., employee surveys
• Act as a point of contact for ASK HR and direct requests and queries appropriately with follow up.
This role reports into the VP, HR & Administration.

Key accountabilities
• Supporting the HR Managers in managing the HR cycle for the client groups, including communication of key HR processes and supporting line managers in their implementation.
• Partnering with Asset and Group HR colleagues to manage global technical populations.
• Proactively engage with HR colleagues to share best practice and knowledge
• Assist with the implementation of the Annual Salary Review, Annual Development Review, Resource Planning and Succession Planning.
• Provide managers with specific advice and support around employment law, grievances, performance management, retirements, maternity leave etc.
• Assist managers with the execution of the performance management process when necessary.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• Capable of providing review and challenge to senior managers.
• Demonstrable business and financial acumen.
• Proven track record of execution optimization (concerning quality, reliability, timeliness).
• Sound employee relations background.
• HR analytics skills (ability to draw insights from data and translate into solutions).
• A collaborative approach, able to work effectively with and through others.
• Demonstrable business and financial acumen.
• Confident in dealing with the demands of executive level management.
• Highly customer focused, proactive and responsive to clients.
• Well presented and articulate.
• Graduate calibre; CIPD accreditation is desirable but not essential.
