The Company:
Our client is a fully-fledged provider of EPC field development projects for the upstream oil and gas industry.

The Role:
To act as Lead Instrumentation Engineer heading up delivery of a high quality detail design project to time and budget criteria.

The Lead Engineer will assume responsibility for the following:
• Technical quality
• Discipline management reporting
• Progress monitoring to maintain schedule
• Manhour budget control for discipline
• Change control within discipline
• Vendor liaison
• Compliance and conformance to regulatory and project standards, codes, contract requirements.
• Assistance in recruitment of engineers

The scope of work will require a sound understanding and experience of the following aspects:
• Instrument data sheets for the full range of field instrumentation.
• Field instrument technical specifications
• Field instrument TBEs and requisitions.
• Attend FATs
• Development and spec. of Fire & Gas systems
• Development of block diagrams
• HIPPS systems
• ICSS system specification and sizing
• Instrument Data Sheets for major equipment:
• Hydraulic Control Panels
• Downhole Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP);
• Subsea Control System;
• Production and Injection Systems;
• Subsea Storage;
• Control Safety Systems
• Emergency Shutdown;
• Fire & Gas Detection;
• Fiscal Metering;
• Tanker Offloading;
• Chemical Injection;
• Instrument and Plant Air;
• Fuel Gas Compressor;
• Drainage;
• Power Generation;
• Electrical Systems;
• Condition Monitoring of critical equipment;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Chartered engineer, greater than 15 years experience with at least 5 in a Lead Engineer/Supervisory role.

Demonstrable track record in FEED/ Basic Engineering projects a distinct advantage
