Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Position: Lead Marine Planning Engineer (UK Only)

Duration: On going

Looking for all round planner and must have work with client in high level planning.

To assist the Project Services Manager in the planning and control of Marine activities on the project developments.

The Lead Planner is responsible for providing planning support to the Project Services Manager for the timely execution and delivery of the Project marine scope.
Responsible for all planning matters relating to the project Development marine scope including:
•Provide project planning services to ensure that the agreed schedule for the Marine scope is planned and monitored to enable timely deviations from the plan to be highlighted for Project Management action for possible corrective action.
•Develop schedules for the various Select phase options and carry out ‘what-if’ planning on these options as required
•Develop Level 1 & 2 and Summary schedules as required for the Marine scope.
•Ensure that Contractor Planning services & reporting meets project and business requirements and conforms to contractual arrangements.
•Develop Technical Readiness Schedules (TRL) in conjunction with engineering and SCM group for the development of prototype and final purchase of key packages in the project developments.
•Develop the overall EPC schedule (Level 2) for the selected option for the DSP and agree with stakeholders.
•In conjunction with the Functional Planning Lead, arrange for external project schedule risk analysis with external ETPG consultant as required.
•Input into monthly dashboards and ad-hoc reporting as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
HNC Qualification - experience in similar role
Must have a minimum of 5 years in a Lead position
Must have minimum 12 years total experience
Marine background a plus
