The Company:
With operations across the world, our client uses innovation and technology to deliver energy to a growing world. They are currently leading an integrated LNG Project in PNG that includes gas production and processing facilities including liquefaction and storage facilities.

The Role:
Our client is looking for a Lead Mechanical Technician for their integrated LNG Project on a rotation (28x28) basis.

As Lead Mechanical Technician you will perform day to day preventative and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment including:
- Water treatment Plant, pumps, valves and Piping
- Heavy and light earth moving machinery
- Diesel Gensets

You will take your daily direction from the Mechanical Maintenance supervisor and you will be responsible for communicating job safety to the Mechanical Maintenance team to ensure all safety standards and objectives set out on the project are adhered to.

Skills required:
You will have solid experience in Maintenance start-up and Commissioning equipment
You will have past experience working with diesel engine maintenance expertise
Machinery alignment experience

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Excellent Commuincation Skills - written and verbally
- Previous oil and gas experience
- Experience with gas plants, subsurface facilities, large equipment and LNG plants is needed
