The Company:
Our Client is a global Energy Leader with a strong commitment to Honest and Ethical Business Practices within the Oil and Gas Industry. Our Client operates as an independent energy company. It has four segments: Oil and Gas, Syncrude, Energy Marketing, and Chemicals. The Oil and Gas segment explores, develops, and produces crude oil, natural gas, and related products.

The Role:
•Accountable for front to end delivery of all Topside Engineering scopes within the remit of the FE&SO department.
•Manage the portfolio of FESO projects for the ensuring safe, quality, on schedule and within budget delivery is achieved.
•Accountable for the engineering planning content incorporated in the 28 day, 90 day & 2 year IAP – ensuring that AFE’s are in place to deliver asset priorities.
•Assist the Area Development and Field Managers (ADMs / FMs) with the development of clear asset priorities and ensure that they are provided with routine updates on the portfolio.
•Strive to create a safe workplace and to protect the environment.
•Act as single point of contact for the FE&SO department.
•Ensure asset work requests are detailed and adequate to proceed with priorities and schedule clearly defined and agreed by the ADM / FM.
•Ensure that the assignment of work within the Facilities engineering team is completed in line with the priorities outlined and ensure drivers are clear with deliverables agreed.
•Participate in the preparation of and manage the Facilities Engineering Budget.
•Manage the team of Modification engineers including the assignment of work within the team.
•Management of the portfolio of projects to ensure delivery within cost and on schedule.
•Ensure all activities are planned and carried out in accordance with the IAP.
•Ensures that effective working relationships are maintained with Engineering Service Contractors
•Ensure that projects are completed in adherence to the MOC process.
•Ensure that the activities of the engineering and construction contractor are effectively managed ensuring work is completed in compliance with company standards, policies, procedures and industry regulations.
•Ensure that the engineering and construction contractors output is reviewed and challenged to ensure optimum use of methods and resources. Identify opportunities to improve contractor/supplier performance, reduce costs and improve the quality of services supplied.
•Manage close out of engineering modifications, both technically and commercially ensuring completion in a timely manner.
•Undertake offshore visits to liaise with key personnel.
•Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with all stakeholders eg ADM’s, Field Managers, OIM’s, Joint Venture Partners, O&M teams, D&C teams etc.
•Openly and proactively share knowledge.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Engineering/Science degree with relevant experience
•HNC/HND with relevant experience
•Proven track record in the project management of multiple engineering scopes in the offshore oil and gas industry.
•Previous experience of operations and maintenance in the offshore oil and gas industry including offshore experience.
•Proven track record of identifying and developing sound and innovative technical solutions.
•Knowledge of associated technical/engineering disciplines e.g. process, planning, mechanical .
•Technical proficiency in IT programmes/systems e.g. Excel, SAP MMS, engineering software.
•Fully familiar with UK industry regulations relating to the oil and gas industry.
•Effective relationship-builder at all levels, internally and externally .
