The Company:
With operations across the world, our client uses innovation and technology to deliver energy to a growing world. They are currently leading an integrated LNG Project in PNG that includes gas production and processing facilities including liquefaction and storage facilities.

The Role:
Our client is looking to engage in a Pipeline Field Engineering Lead to be responsible for technical oversight of all onshore pipeline and facility engineering, design, fabrication, and installation on the Project.

As Lead Pipeline Engineer you will ensures that the EPC Contractor produces cost effective pipelines and facilities that are designed, fabricated, and installed to meet the Project's safety, performance, and durability requirements within the project budget and schedule. You will also ensure that the Project's requirements, as detailed in the Technical Specifications, for all pipelines and facilities are met.

Reporting to the Project Supervisor you will assist with all aspects of pipelines and facilities engineering for the Project.

Daily responsibilities and duties will include:

- Monitor and provide direction to the EPC contractor
- Provide overall onshore pipelines and facilities engineering and fabrication technical leadership and expertise
- Provide technical leadership to junior engineers to address all discipline specific requirements within the Project.
-Responsible for the lead role for field pipeline route assessments and finalization including participation in site geohazard identification in conjunction with specialist expert Third Party Consultants, with particular emphasis on pipeline integrity assurance.
- Advise the EPC Contractor's pipelines and facilities design, fabrication, transportation and installation planning effort

* Based of a 6/3 rotation to Papua New Guinea.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Thorough and working knowledge of:
- Pipelines and facilities engineering, design, fabrication, transportation, installation, and commissioning & start-up principles, theories, and concepts..
- Extensive experience of the pipeline and facilities engineering experience, including previous project experience with pipeline and facilities EPC.
- Experience working in challenging and remote locations.

Education: Bachelor of Engineering or Science degree in Mechanical, Civil, Ocean, or Maritime Systems Engineering
