The Role:
• Accountable for the maintenance and management of the complete portfolio of plans for both projects and assets.
• Monitor progress against schedules, analyse deviations and recommend remedial actions.
• Responsible for the weekly update of the overall FPSO master schedule that reports the performance of each of the projects and assets
• Responsible for providing planning assistance to both projects and operational assets
• Management of weekly and monthly man-hour reports for all FPSO projects and assets (s-curves, histograms, KPIs)
• Work along with the cost engineers to develop a monthly forecast for each of the relevant projects and assets
• If required, act as a planning consultant to subcontractors to provide planning assistance and best practice
• Provide planning support to Business Development for Tender plans
• Conduct Schedule Risk Analyses, utilising a quantitative risk management tool as required for projects and assets
• Maybe required to make presentations to clients and/or investors
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree qualification is desirable, HND/HNC is acceptable. Working towards Chartered status with 10 years+ (3-5 years in a supervisory capacity) experience in planning engineering within Oil and Gas both CAPEX and OPEX planning. Experience in conducting quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis is desired. FPSO conversion and operational experience is Essential. Some of this experience should have been gained through field assignments.
