The Company:

They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK

The Role:
◦(a) The role requires a candidate who can be hands on in producing daily detailed planning deliverables and work as part of the team whilst also being able to review and plan at a strategic level to maximise schedule performance
◦(b) Liaise with the Estimating/Project Engineers/Lead Engineers/Construction Engineers/Client and others as appropriate to identify and quantify project scope.
◦(c) Prepare plans in conjunction with those responsible for their execution, for all project work in accordance with project procedures.
◦(d) Development, management and distribution of Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 project plans as required for each element of work authorised by the Client.
◦(e) Review externally produced plans to ensure they comply with the needs of the project.
◦(f) Integrate plans for individual jobs into overall project plan.
◦(g) Collate and download progress as provided by those responsible for the execution of the work.
◦(h) Progress reporting including manhour, progress & productivity reports/histograms/fully developed working plan/s-curves/forecasts.
◦(i) Identify areas where performance is at variance with the baseline plan and discuss corrective action with those responsible for the execution of the work.
◦(j) Review & monitor planning processes and procedures to maintain a continuous improvement programme.
◦(k) Control of Engineering CTR/Jobcard data.
◦(l) Support Project Engineer during regular progress meetings.
◦(m) Produce ad-hoc plans as required within the Contract.
◦Interface with cost control department to forecast final man-hour estimated expenditure.Liaise with the Estimating/Project Engineers/Lead Engineers/Construction Engineers/Client and others as appropriate to identify and quantify project scope

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
◦Educated to a degree or HNC level or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
◦ Track record of continuous professional development.
◦Sound knowledge of Primavera P5/P6.
◦Ability to make decisions, meet deadlines and a track record of delivering results.
◦Accuracy and attention to detail.
◦Deliver to a challenging reporting calendar
◦Demonstrable experience in a relevant industry position where robust planning was key to the ongoing success of the business. Significant planning experience with experience in a senior / lead planning role.
◦Offshore planning experience.
◦Good communication skills to ensure correct information is being sought and received from all other departments. Team Player requirements.
◦Accepts Responsibilities, good decision making, planning, organisation and initiative
◦Proactive approach, commercial acumen / willingness to implement performance improvements.
