The Company:
Our client has one of the largest refineries in Europe with a large FCC and corresponding high gasoline yield. It is a medium complex plant.

The Role:
Assist in development of the program integrated schedule consistent with the Major Projects common process, Small Projects common process and published local common processes;
Provide quality assurance of detailed schedules covering activities through to the start of operations;
Provide quality assurance & support for planning activities of the contractors chosen to execute the program of work;
Ensure that schedule learning from complementary work in other Business Units and external companies is appropriately utilized;
Assist in developing the schedule process, system and procedures to support the program; - Assess contractors and vendors schedule submittals for conformance with requirements;
Provide assurance that the contractors schedule systems interface and progress measurement is effectively implemented and consistently applied;
Promote collaborative information sharing with team members and contractors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Working knowledge of German and Dutch Mandatory

Solid broad-based experience in both define and execute phase planning and scheduling on projects, a clear track record of delivery and a willingness and ability to work with all disciplines
Well developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and contractors;
Good communications skills;
Well developed support / knowledge management networks;
Understanding of current schedule best practices and demonstrated ability with SAP and Roser
Heavy industrial planning / scheduling / project controls experience or, equivalent;
Excellent teamwork skills, including the ability to work with various sub-teams to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interest of the program;
Experience working with engineering and construction contractors;
Experience crafting top-down, full Engineering-Procurement-Construction logic driven networked schedules.
