The Company:
Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.
They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier, Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company.

The Role:
The key elements of the role are :

•Supervise and direct all activities of the Planning Function and the Planning Engineers.
•Supervise the Project Controls function during design and/or construction stages of the assigned project/projects.
•Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the overall project schedule to ensure optimization of resources and control of all associated project work.
•Ensure effective co-ordination within the planning team and to its external interfaces.
•Monitors engineering schedules to ensure that the engineering deliverables are scheduled to meet construction requirements.
•Provides weekly reports of engineering and procurement progress, and informs to management on areas of concern and advise remedial actions and alternatives to maintain the schedule.
•Monitors contractor, vendors' and sub-contractors schedules to ensure that the project has a realistic and achievable construction schedule.
•Leads and directs other Planning / Schedule Engineer.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Degree in Engineering.

•Must have subtantial experience in years Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemiocal Industry
•Substantial experience of EPCM engineering projects, including managing multi-discipline design activities with International EPCM contractors.
•Substantial hands on experience in Planning
•Must have experience in planning software like Primavera, MS Project, etc.
•Good written and oral communication skills, demonstrated through client interaction, supervision, proposals and presentations.
•Ability to negotiate successfully with clients and contractors through engineering and construction phases of the project.
