The Company:
My Client, a global leader in the field of Natural Gas, from exploration to delivery to the consumer, has operations in over 20 countries worldwide.
As part of continual expansion they are actively recruiting for an Engineering Manager based in there Stavanger offices.

The Role:
• Lead process engineering efforts for assigned project
• Serve as Project Management Team’s (PMT) lead process engineer
• Planning and development of scopes for technical and engineering studies as part of project
• Apply process engineering knowledge to successfully complete broadly defined or technically complex scope of the project at various phases
• Attend project meetings and workshops with Contractor(s), Licensor, ATLANTIC operations, Shareholders and Vendors
• Travel to plant site as necessary

Skills, Experience, & Attributes
• 20 years process engineering experience with process plants
• Extensive knowledge of LNG liquefaction technology, in particular Optimized Cascade technology
• Strong Brownfield experience is required
• Strong HSSE commitment
• Experience with FEED, EPC, commissioning and operations
• Strong knowledge of Depressuring and Safety Relief Systems design
• Understand both the technical and commercial aspects of the MTPO project.
• Manage the EPC contractor effectively
• Experience with capital projects Functional reviews and Assurance Gate process
• Experience working on a joint venture operated project with multiple share holders
• Excellent communicator - oral and written
• Effective presentation skills
• Team player with ability to work with diverse cultures
• Develop subordinates’ skills and encourages growth, while effectively managing multiple and conflicting priorities
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
• Delegate work assignments and matches the responsibility to the person
• Balance team and individual responsibilities while working effectively and efficiently
• Proficient use of Hysys, Flarenet, Windows Software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
