The Role:
Main Duties:

◦Supervise the process engineering, design, operational support/construction and commissioning. Maintain progress, efficiency and quality of work within the discipline area.
◦Review and approve deliverables from the process discipline and ensure that these conform to the quality required.
◦Co-ordinate and prepare input into deliverables from Process Engineering, including Basis of Design, Scope of Work, Simulations, Data Sheets, Flow Diagrams and Technical Reports.
◦The continuous review of Project Specifications and Standards in order to ensure that operational needs are met.
◦Work with other Disciplines for the greatest benefit of the Project.
◦Maintain suitable records of correspondence and work completed for reference and auditing purposes.
◦Ensure competency within Process Engineering. Coach, support and develop process engineers in order to realise their career potential.
◦Represent Process Engineering at Project and Corporate management meetings. Advise on project staffing requirements and manage changes.
◦Attend HAZID Studies and Peer Reviews.
◦Organisation and attendance at HAZOP studies including production of reports
◦Must be eligible and willing to carry out occasional offshore/onshore trips.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
◦Experience of the needs of other Disciplines and how these link to the Process Engineering function, particularly: Piping, Control Systems, Mechanical, Commissioning, Construction and Operation.
◦Proven experience of ability to produce Process Deliverables, which meet HSE, technical and cost-effective quality requirements within accepted time frames
◦Knowledge of the main safety-related Codes of Practice. Experience of the application of HAZOP, HAZID and SIL Rating to Process Design. A determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation.
◦Knowledge of best practice engineering methods, experience of their application and ability to independently check work done by others.
◦Ability to plan and monitor the Process Engineering work scopes of the project, including hours required, staff loading and skills allocation to meet project requirements for delivery time and quality.
◦Awareness of Industry Standards

◦Appropriate degree (or equivalent)◦Chartered engineer status◦Current offshore survival/medical/dental certificates

◦Good oral and written communication.◦Strong team working ethic, enthusiastic and positive.◦Experience of leading teams
