The Role:
Having RPEQ accreditation, the successful candidate will display a comprehensive knowledge of the upstream oil & gas sector, having successfully delivered design and engineering projects from a lead role across an associated discipline. Important supporting responsibilities include:
- identifying and addressing customer and statutory requirements during the design phase
- properly defining HSE risks and ensuring steps are taken to reduce their impact through design, construction and operations
- preparing and documenting project estimates defined by discipline
- planning execution methods and creating project schedules
- ensuring quality is maintained
- manage and liaise amongst stakeholders, varying disciplines and subcontractors where appropriate
- reviewing designs to ensure technical integrity and foreseen constructability
