The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with extensive operations in the Caspian Region.

The Role:
Our Client is currently seeking a Lead Process Engineer for the commissioning of onshore facilities.

The role will start in the UK and transfer overseas early 2016.

Duties include:
• Lead a team of Process Commissioning Engineers in executing commissioning activities.
• Ensure correct technical integrity is achieved and maintained for all Hydrocarbon and Utility Systems prior to handover to Operations.
• Provide Technical input and approval for Commissioning Test Procedures.
• Provide Technical input to Site queries and review of all process changes.
• Review engineering design and provide comments toward "commissionability" at site
• Development of Limit of System Handover (LOSH) drawings
• Provide coaching / mentor national and junior team members as necessary
• Ensure that any engineering changes to systems, are captured and marked up on project master P&ID’s.
• Provide assistance where applicable to the SPA for contractors Site Engineering Queries and responsible for liaising with the Engineering Manager and Engineering Contractor for the resolution of these queries.
• Responsible for approving the Process content of onshore process commissioning test procedures (CTPs) , ensuring that the integrity of the systems is maintained and all safe working practices are adhered to within the procedures.
• Responsible for the development of the major process systems commissioning test procedures (CTPs) ensuring integrity of systems is maintained and all safe working practices are adhered to within said procedures
• Provide assistance to the Commissioning Mechanical, Electrical & Instrument / Control groups to ensure that the all Mechanical Pre-Commissioning activities and dynamic Commissioning activity are completed in a safe manor.
• SPA for the review / acceptance of the relevant N2He leak test-packs required for the onshore & offshore N2He programmes within the onshore / offshore commissioning phases
• Provide assistance where required to Operations group for studies & preparation of “start up” procedures / documentation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Recognised Process Engineering Qualification, Degree Qualified (HNC/HND may be considered with appropriate experience)
Previous experience in a similar role using the following skill sets:
o Deep understanding of Commissioning process
o Involvement with Engineering Contractor in design phase.
o Process System Calculations for Operability.
o Development of Limit of System Handover (LOSH) drawings
o N2He System Testing and Managing
o Site Acceptance Testing
o Commissioning Dynamic Test Procedure compilation
o System Handover Process from Construction and to Operations

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Chartered Engineer preferred
