The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
As Lead Production Engineer, you are responsible for production, forecasting, surveillance and optimisation of the project field. Key activity for this role is maximising production by identifying and efficiently delivering opportunities to increase well potential and improve system availability.
Key responsibilities include:  
• Conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
• Creating, maintaining and updating well performance and integrated asset models.
• Developing production and loss management reporting and production reporting standards using recommended best practices in the pre Ops phase.
• The daily monitoring (in Operating phase), evaluation and analysis of production against potential production.
• Generating weekly/monthly and annual production forecasts and well test priorities.
• Developing short term well production solution that maximises well production within life of field, cost and volume production/support solution.
• Developing the daily production engineering and support offshore production operations/ drilling/subsea/ well service from sand face to the point of delivery in the Ops Phase
• Assisting the Production Manager in production management and forecasting for the Annual Delivery Plan
• Liaising with other disciplines such as reservoir engineering, well optimization, operations engineering and allocation as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in a related engineering technical area.
• Experienced in well functional design, well intervention, maintenance, performance evaluation, well testing, debottlenecking and plant performance.
• Excellent understanding of hydrocarbon production from sand face to the point of delivery.
• Knowledge of Regulator and commercial agreement requirements for hydrocarbon production allocation and reporting.
