The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
The Lead Progress Reporter will conduct the detailed scheduling for the project during the execute phase. You will monitor schedules developed by contractors for site works and the development an integrated plan.

This will be done through liaising with counterparts in the EPC office and establishing detailed schedules for all projects being undertaken. In addition to ensuring that schedules produced either by company directly or its contractors comply with the work breakdown structure and reporting needs.

This role will initially be Brisbane based, with occasional site visits. It is possible that towards the execute phase of the project the incumbent will be required to relocate to site.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintain these project schedules with progress updates from contractor’s schedules and also from site staff
• Monitor and report that contractors are updating their schedules as required.
• Provide regular updates of the schedules to the Project Group Planning Team
• Ensure detailed management and control of the project critical path(s) at all times
• Reviews and confirms that contractor’s responsibilities and reporting requirements per the contract, if applicable, are correct and will provide the required information
• Review contractor planning & scheduling and co-ordinate procedures
• Co-ordinate with contractors on the production of detailed look ahead schedules
• Review these contractor schedules with the project team to enable subsequent review and agreement with the vendor or contractor

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in developing detailed schedules using Primavera products (preferably P6)
• Understanding of Critical Path scheduling methodology
• Experience in managing contractor schedules and combining multiple contractor schedules to form one project schedule
• Leadership experience on major Oil & Gas projects in Australia

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience working in the Coal Seam Gas industry
